okay but I absolutely adore the art direction in this damn game like???
The use of colours is superb and they keep going for interesting and mood setting pallettes rather than the most obvious choices. But what really boggles me is the amazing usage of environment?

Like, the characters are obvious the center of attention but they have 0 problem with mixing the composition around to show us more which is AMAZING. I love seeing these characters but their emotions and situations are what makes them we don& #39;t always need to zoom at their faces
and they& #39;re also just really pretty to look at sometimes? The fact that they don& #39;t anchor in one specific frame to work with on these is amazing. Not to mention just the sheer amount of detail in backgrounds that& #39;s just fun to zoom at to see more but it doesn& #39;t hog the attention
special shoutout for untrained cards and their expressiveness
there& #39;s so much more to say about camera use, bg architecture, character insight etc. but the art pool is overall just so amazing in it& #39;s diversity but very constant clean look. art pretty
I didn& #39;t plan this thread at all so missing out many things to bring up but these 2 are super lovely in particular with how they speak volumes about the characters shown

amidst all these super rendered and filter heavy artworks, it& #39;s also nice how we have a good amount of some cleaner arts too! It& #39;s refreshing

and as a fan of the more expressive cards, another shoutout for the lighthearted sillier ones (thank you tenmas for carrying this category)
and these ones for the powerful settings of atmospheres!
and some detail parts! Someone really had to render all this (especially the bush trunks on the last one! it& #39;s not about the detail but the smart use of negative space and shape definition. Goes for all unblurred vegetation in these cards tbh)
