River Saraswati, Rigveda, Mahabharata and Our Civilization.

In the previous thread we looked at hydrological study of River Saraswati and it's timeline according to intensity of flow and volume.

Now let's look at few description from our scriptures:
Rigveda 10:75 says, that River Saraswati is most grandest of rivers and it's flow is coming from high mountains breaking hills with its steady flow in the course. When we corroborate this Verse if rigveda,
it's certain that composer was describing river Saraswati during 24,000 BCE or before.

In later Mandal of Rigveda, River Saraswati is mentioned but it looses the grand stature of RV 10:75.
That means composer is now looking at River Saraswati as one of the main River of North India along with other rivers. Certainly not during or after 6000 BCE.

Mahabharata Anushashan Parva (139-140, 146) Saraswati is described as one of the main rivers flowing beautifully.
this is told to us through layers of Upakhyana, originally during a conversation between Mahadev and Mata Parvati.
This might have happened many thousands years before Mahabharata.

We can safely say that River this reference predates Mahabharata period.
Vana parv reference in Mahabharata says that River Saraswati was meeting other rivers and flowing into River west of Gujarat.

This corroborates with description of Saraswati during 4000-6000 BCE,

where It's though inconsistent, but is going into ocean.
Later, it doesn't goes to ocean but dries somewhere between in 3000 BCE.

That means Mahabharata must have happened before 3000 BCE period.
Conclusion: The research of River Saraswati is very important to present our civilization as there is recorded evidence filled in our scriptures.

We must get these research in front of our generation Z.

This will be an important step in reclaiming the grand narrative.
