out of abundance of caution. They both had actually confined themselves to the house with first cases in the building 3+ weeks back. So we don't know how they caught it but their results came back + today 3 days after samples were collected. So it is now day 5 from onset

of symptoms for my mom. With her being a diabetic, dr has advised a CT and here we are right now at a diagnostic center on a Sunday evening and the place is jam packed with those waiting to get tested. Since dad is on day 2 of his symptoms, no CT for him yet.

He is also maintaining O2 of 99 so .
They both have had their first dose of covishield on Mar 2. So hoping it keeps the severity to a min. Mom though has O2 of 93 after 5 min walk. But other than fatigue, not many symptoms or fever. More progress will be chronicled further

on this thread as time progresses. Moral of the story so far...no matter how careful, covid is striking fairly quickly this time around.

Lucky to have friends like @docyogi1 and others and drs in family to guide us through the unknown.
