I am once again asking you to stop calling comics based on true life events graphic novels. A novel is a work of fiction not just a word that means “fancy book.”
I know bookstores and publishers use it that way, they are wrong.
Worse is “it’s not a comic it’s a graphic novel” like what 🤦🏾‍♀️
Also I could be wrong but I have yet to meet a cartoonist that makes graphic novels that calls what they are doing “making graphic novels” rather than “making comics”
HOWEVER if it helps my friends sell books I will call them whatever they want. I will call them Terrence.
Muting this thread because I don’t feel like talking to people I don’t know. It’s only a matter of time before someone gets weird. Good luck reading and working on your Terrences!
