This week I got lucky and participated to the @inside event organized by @Jason on “Understanding NFTs”. Lots of great insights and different perspectives (business, legal, art). A few highlights here

1) The concept of NFT - Non-Fungible Token - is revolutionary both for digital assets and physical assets. It can change dramatically how we manage ownership.

2) It’s super easy to create your own NFT on platform like @opensea. The creator will get 1% forever on all transactions of her asset, very powerful mechanism

3) It’s not just about #ETH. There are many other tokens out there focused on NFTs. I find #WAX very interesting, focused on collectibles, which is a huge market

4) From a creator perspective, this is revolutionary. It cuts out the middle men, just like many other tech businesses did, and creates a decentralized art world. Journalists, artists, writers, much more empowered with their art.

5) NFTs are still at the very early stage of their lives. We don’t know what they will become, but they could play a key role in a AR/VR-powered world, as they would represent the digital token of assets we buy for AR/VR experiences.
