We met in Vietnam. Yeop and I are couchsurfers and we stayed at the same host. Turned out we share a similar "taste" in travelling and since then we decided to travel together

Aside from travelling and travel plan, we don't talk that much. Our convo is like:

"Yeop, I'm free next month. One week in Cambodia?"

"Qi, how does one month of travelling across India sound?"

"Any plan for Christmas holiday? Shall we go skiing near Mt. Fuji?"

"Let's go to South America during summer, I mean during the northern hemisphere summer"

We would meet at the airport of our destination, it's like:
"My flight will arrive at Schiphol Airport at 6 AM, Yeop"
"Okay Qi, mine will arrive there at 5 AM. Let's just meet at a Belgian fries place near the exit"

And once Yeop got lost in a souk in Morocco. I was choosing tea to buy and he went to take pics and we lost each other

No WiFi, and we searched one another for almost an hour. Until I stopped to buy mint tea and he was chased by carpet sellers who forced him to buy something

Tmi but we're not really fond of Koh Samui. Both of us got food poisoning there. He suffered worse than I did, because I used to eat Indonesian street foods whose hygiene is questionable

"You never got food poisoning and now you get it, can you imagine how bad it is for me, Qi?"

Too bad the pandemic happened and both of us had to stay at our own place. We had this amazing itinerary to do in 2021, but it must be postponed. We were planning to travel for a few months across Europe, Northern Africa, and Middle East

Hopefully we could do it soon~
