Svet'sh Lavrentiy I have based on Russia (and I mean ALLLL our ethnic groups, not only Slavs).
.
The city Marena is, however, named after the Slavic goddess of winter and the lifecycle (Marena is the Russian variant of her name, which varies a bit depending on the Slavic country)

Marena's unique microclimate is extremely misty at all times.
Its architecture is based on Kizhi Pogost located in the Republic of Karelia in North-western Russia on Kizhi island on lake Onega, dating back to the 17th century.

On the left Matryona is wearing a shuba (шуба), a coat worn by the boyars who were the highest ranking feudal nobles second only to the ruling tsar in ancient Muscovy.
On the right I wanted her in Marena's traditional attire which I have based on traditional clothing of the Chuvash (a Turkic-speaking ethnic group native to Chuvashia in Western Russia.)
Note the coins on the headdress (tukhya) and shoulder sling (teveret).

The projections on her hat are inspired from the horned kichka/kika (рогатая кичка/кика), an ancient Russian pagan headdress worn historically by married women [Matryona is not] as it traditionally symbolises fertility and protection from evil spirits.
