Seclusive mechanic Izuku lives alone, isolated in the woods. He’s shopping for supplies in town when he hears an explosion. He rushes home only to discover an airship has crashed into it. Izuku regrets checking on the pilot when he sees him. It’s ruthless pirate Katsuki Bakugou.
When the pirate steps out of the smoking ship, Deku instantly recognizes him from the “most wanted” posters plastered around town.
Katsuki and his crew are known for kidnapping royalty for ransom.

His words aren’t reassuring. Deku slowly backs to the door. He grabs the pipe against the wall and bolts, running for the woods.

He doesn’t get far. Katsuki pins him to a tree and yanks his weapon for him. His red eyes scan the grease on Deku’s hands and vest.

Izuku nods. The pirate barks out a laugh.
“Shit. This is perfect. It’s your lucky day, nerd. You’re my personal mechanic now.”

The pirate rolls his eyes. “As if. You’re going to fix my ship. If you do a decent job, I’ll consider letting you live. What’s your name?”

Katsuki leans in. He brushes his cold lips against the mechanic’s ear, making him shudder.

Deku takes his time assessing the airship. The craftsmanship is impressive. Katsuki observes, but doesn’t interrupt.

The pirate grumbles under his breath but cooperates. Deku gets him to hand over more tools as he inspects the engine.

“I’ll try my best, but it’s going to take at least a week to fix.”
The pirate scowls. “I don’t have a fucking week, Deku. Unlike you, I’ve got shit to do. Treasure to plunder, extras to blackmail.”

He stomps off.

For the first few nights, Deku expected to wake up with missing a limb.
Even if Kacchan’s a criminal, he’s secretly grateful for the company.

“Thanks.” He smiles. “You’re getting pretty good at this too.”

Deku couldn’t sleep, knowing the pirate next door was offering to fuck him. He starts avoiding him.

He manages to fix the airship by the deadline. When Deku wakes up the next day, Kacchan’s gone and so is the ship.
