@cvspharmacy @TheArcMC My Uncle Paul with Down Syndrome lives at The Arc Montgomery County. I am advocating for him to get vaccinated. After delayed appointments, no shows by the health care workers responsible for vaccinating him and his deaf/mute roommate with Downs, he finally

got his first vaccine ( @pfizer). Now it’s almost 5 weeks later - again no shows by persons responsible for giving the vaccines and then showing up with THE WRONG VACCINE ( @JNJNews) he’s left in an unimaginable situation - not fully vaccinated and having to restart the series!

Many wonderful people are responsible for his care. His counselor took him to a vaccine center today and they wouldn’t give him his 2nd dose BECAUSE HE DID NOT RECEIVE HIS FIRST DOSE THERE. The system is failing one it’s most vulnerable persons and group of people. @CDCgov

What are you going to do about this issue? The Arc has taken good care of my Uncle Paul. CVS helped supply the vaccines and persons vaccinating. Both organizations NEED TO WAKE UP and not let these people fall by the way side. @CNN @wjz @MontgomeryCoMD @ReadyMontgomery @FoxNews
