when I was in school one of my teachers called my mom and told her I was transgender.
I’m not trans and if I was my mom is a safe person but many parents are not and she could have been putting me in direct and sever harms way.

what she did to me.
she did it to punish me for something I did in class and it was an awful thing to do, but for it to be a thing teachers and other trusted adults are required to do is a systematic abuse that is going to kill trans and queer kids. /

and coupled with not allowing trans kids access to health care? This is abuse and murder.

And I want to add that she told my mom this particularly because she overheard me talking about my gender queerness in class. what she did to me was an act of violence and this law would make it not only a legal act of violence but a mandatory one
she told this lie to my mom to put me in danger like she did it to hurt me and that’s the same reason for this law but the difference is not everyone’s mom is like my mom and the kids in danger are actually trans.
idk it’s so fucked up and reading about it reminded me of this fucked up thing that happened to me and I do not want to be speaking over trans people here so if I have please lmk and I’ll take it down
