American Newspapers right now are all like "Stop Asian Hate!" and then two days later run an five articles about how we have to destroy the Chinese economy or their evil influence will spread across the globe.

"Ahhh, but we are talking about the evil Chinese Government, not the people!"
"Yeah but the people mostly like their government and think it's more democratic than ours."
"Well that's only because they are all stupid and brainwashed!!"

The source on that is literally Bloomberg, by the way, hardly a pro-China paper. They claim more people in China value democracy and more think their government is democratic, than Americans do.
