While others have been perfecting their sourdough during the pandemic, I kept killing my starter. Instead, I have been making filled breads shaped according to my kids& #39; requests. It& #39;s time for... a Bread Thread!

Bread 1: a "flower" filled with garlic butter. I used the linked recipe, and it was tasty. I still use the enriched bread dough from this but have started... doing my own thing now.

Bread 3: I felt empowered to DO ALL THE THINGS with bread, so attempted a basket. Never again, man. What a PITA.
Bread 4: Back to the original recipe, using teeny tiny pieces. Almost noped out on this one, NGL. It was fiddly.
Bread 5: Back to twists. Husband says they look... clitoral. Oops.

Bread 6: Harry Potter wands for the little one& #39;s birthday. Looked better before cooking, since the mozzarella melted.
Bread 7: This technique has a fancy name in French, IIRC, but I can& #39;t remember it and can& #39;t be bothered to look it up. Little one reached in and grabbed it before I could get a proper pic.
Bread 8: Gobble gobble, y& #39;all!
Bread 9: Put some pumpkin puree in the dough, wrap with string before second rise. Shove a pecan in it. Voilà!
