Dw I also thought opening up about my trauma by making jokes about it and presenting it like some juicy gossip was emotionally opening up
For those of you confused, the first step can be stopping to emotionally detach when you share an experience; share how that made you feel. Second step would be to stop rationalizing your emotions. Your emotions don’t need to make sense in order to be valid.
But it should be added that as air signs it’s our natural tendency to put thoughts before feelings and you shouldn’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable. But when an emotion comes up, know that it’s safe to express it before your thoughts can get a hold of it.
And finally it should be said that I’m not diagnosing you with anything nor claiming that you have psychological problems that would be the job of a licensed psychologist to determine that which I am not (~yet~) so take what I said with a grain of salt ok love you <3
