I am sorry for beating a dead horse but 120-122 has been my favorite stretch of chapters in fiction ever since I read them so I feel like I gotta talk about this.

So 139 basically revealed that Eren had been moving forward all this time for this result #aot139spoilers
I used two different translations there because only one outright mentions Ymir, but both translations imply that Eren knew about Ymir and what Mikasa's choice would make Ymir do. #aot139spoilers
So this raises the question - why the hell did he act so surprised in 120 when he ""first"" saw Ymir? #aot139spoilers
I've seen so many people say that "Oh it's just a facade he's faking it" and yes Eren lied a lot in post ts to achieve his goals, but this doesn't look like a facade at all. Who is he lying to in the first place? Does this look like acting to you? #aot139spoilers
To me, this just further cements the idea that the whole Mikasa Ymir parallel and his simp persona were things that were thought of at the last moment for reasons utterly unknown to me. #aot139spoilers
Another thing, a huge part of Eren's decision to go through with genocide is built upon there "not being another choice". That part is absolutely crucial. #aot139spoilers
This line straight up implies that he was only following the one path he knew would end with this result and undermines everything about his character that is built upon *trying to find another choice* #aot139spoilers
Slowly convincing myself that 139 Eren is not Eren
