Not only did Isayama (or his editor) romantized slavery and toxic relationships in order to force feed us a parallel with Mikasa (which has NEVER even been foreshadowed before), it negates all the relevancies of freckle Ymir and Historia& #39;s similar situation
How dare they suddenly use something as pure as "love" to describe this horrid master-servant relationship between Ymir and King Fritz! I am disgusted.
I always thought that the founder Ymir& #39;s devotion to that pedophile rapist was because, just like freckle Ymir and Historia& #39;s "Krista" role, Ymir was also playing a role in hopes of getting accepted and praised by the people around her. Isn& #39;t this reason good enough?! Hello!?
And all this time, I thought that the reason why Ymir saved Karl Fritz that day was similar to the reason why Krizta was trying to save "Daz" from the storm because she really just wants to die HONORABLY. Krista and Ymir sharing the same suicidal sentiments.

139 completely negated Eren& #39;s struggle to convince Ymir to join his side in 122. Like, I thought Eren is the one who will free Ymir. Hello? Isn& #39;t the manga called "Attack on Titan"? The attack titan who is Eren? The attack titan that was supposed to symbolize freedom?
I thought it was EREN who already sparked Ymir& #39;s underlying desire for freedom in 122 which brings the importance of the scene where she freed the pigs. That scene definitely has nothing to do with her toxic love for the pigs, am I right?
Instead, Eren was made a plot device last minute to give more significance to side characters and that is another thing that makes me angry.

I thought that the reason Ymir eventually sided with Eren is because he managed to convince her to live for herself like Historia& #39;s decision in the cave scene.
In this case I thought Eren and Ymir finally share the same sentiment to destroy the world that& #39;s keeping them in cages

I also thought that Eren and Ymir shared the same sentiment to free their children, and eventually all Subjects of Ymir from the burdens of the past because Ymir knows the pain of passing the burden to her children. Because like Eren, it turns out Ymir loves her children instead.
But nope. Turns out she fucking loves her oppressor. No mention of Maria, Sina, and Rose anymore. Ymir probably don& #39;t even remember their names. Nope. Cause King Fritz is more important. Because Ymir loves King Fritz more than her children.
All these important scene, all this important character growth, parallels and foreshadowing means nothing anymore because Mikasa fanservice > plot
