In your opinion who’s ideas would most help most people seeing this, if they were to learn and deeply incorporate their ideas into their worldview?

My guess is probably Derek Parfit. I think the most of my followers probably haven’t thought super hard about individuality, but are the kind of people who would benefit if they did, and also the kind who could slog through Reasons and Persons

Another interesting one is Thiel. Lots haven’t thought hard about what he’s trying to say, they just idolize him or make fun of him, but I do think he (/ Girard) has important ideas

It’s interesting, philosophers adjacent to what I guess followers believe already are popping up

Also Christopher Alexander and Deutsch/Popper, but I suspect many already have

Leonardo da Vinci is underrated for this crew imo. His spark for life shines through so clearly reading his notebooks, and most people haven’t looked at them. Might revive sparks lost to the pandemic
