Men are not the problem, masculinity is. The who don’t identify as “completely masculine” had almost the same rates of reported covid and health behaviors as women. The biggest predictor of men’s behaviors is not their gender, it’s how they view it.

This data not depressing, it’s great news because it means men’s view of masculinity is highly modifiable. Just look at the way women have changed their understanding of their gender and how it’s changed the world for the better. Positive change is possible!
