Yesterday, many of my friends in education received RIF (reduction in force) notices that will end their employment in this same village if the levy does not pass on May 4th. (2)
These letters were given the same day that our Year 3 teachers received word that they all passed the state licensure assessment. This is the same month that our district staff rushed students out of buildings for bomb threats. (3)
This is the same year that we transitioned to emergency learning, online learning, blended models, and in-person distanced instruction. We have given our all. We continue to be all in. Please show up to the polls and give YOUR all for us and each other! (4)
I fundamentally believe in public education. I believe in our kids. I believe in this staff. And I believe in this city to do what is right. (5)
Make it a YES vote on May 4th for your property value, your kids/grandkids/neighbors, your educators and school personnel, and your community. (6)
