Alright here we go.
So as you know dvon has been making points that are good ones to make about minors and adults being in the same hotel room at major events. It& #39;s a bad norm that the smash community and various other communities have formed, in regards of hotel room bookings and what not
When ideally most of are just trying to find a room to stay in, play some video games when we don& #39;t want to be at the venue especially after a loss or just when the night is starting wrap up you know. We make friends and invite people in that we trust into our rooms
without even thinking twice of how it can be frowned upon or weird that adults are playing video games with children let alone them sleeping in the same room. It just doesn& #39;t cross the mind because of our experience of attending events at a strangers house too throughout the time
But those are things we can work on, and ALWAYS putting one person as the crutch is fucked up however. When it wasn& #39;t just one guy and using that same person over and over with the wrong information being spread on this site is so messed up, dangerous and victim blaming.
We can sit down and have a civil discussion about this, but when we& #39;re out making assumptions leaving out major details to add to agenda and then keep pumping out more and more especially when you have party members deeply involved in the community and not even correcting or
pointing out the wrongful information it& #39;s even worse and should be ashamed of yourselves for that. The picture of Zack and Nairo happened AFTER the assault.

We& #39;re not out here encouraging that shit, we& #39;re not out here enabling that type of relationship, some definitely were and got booted out of the community once they got caught. What& #39;s going on here is that people aren& #39;t even thinking of the backlash if you& #39;re going to tell
the story, tell the whole thing not some cliff notes and trying to point out "But there were minors in bedrooms with adults and they were sleeping together." First off, the demographics of smash ultimate ranges from pre-teen to adults, a majority being folks who aren& #39;t old
enough to purchase a hotel room without an adult and usually they put their trust in the community scene that they& #39;ve attended events, from locals, fests, regionals from the same scene to room up together. Possibly with permission from parents as well but y& #39;all don& #39;t know but
probably didn& #39;t ask, and many of us know that people who we see as friends are usually ones that do us wrong the most than a pure random off the street cause most of the time we won& #39;t even let someone random be in our room cause we don& #39;t know them.
