I’ve criticised Mason Mount a lot and I stand by what I said but in recent months, the kid has improved massively. Fair play!

I still believe Mount is overhyped and isn’t the saviour people make him out to be and sure, he can still massively improve certain aspects of his game but at the end of the day he’s still a kid, it will all come with time.

If handled correctly, he has a bright, exciting future!

I said when Tuchel came in that Mount would benefit from a better Manager, a tactician, a mind with more experience and someone who has developed some of the best talents in the World from a young age.

The improvement already is massive.

Chelsea fans always assumed I hated Mount and even now they’ll assume I’m ‘backtracking’ when in actuality, I’ve stayed the same all along and with valid points too.

Football isn’t Black & White.

As I’ve said before, if Frank Lampard remained in charge it would have been damaging to Mason Mount long-term, which there was signs of towards the end.

Now, he’s being managed correctly.

Also, at the end of the day I wont stop fairly criticising Mount or any other player where I feel necessary, regardless of what anyone says.
