THREAD: While beginning to consider a career in teaching I decided to look up what schools look like on reservations since I’m not familiar with them at all, what I found was heart breaking yet all too familiar-
if you do a simple google search of “schools on reservations” you find article after article of how these schools are routinely underfunded, left behind and neglected by the U.S, along with this pandemic not only effecting these low income areas-
but receiving minimal aid and a halfassed response from to government to help them The rest of this thread will be links to articles about these situations I don’t want to set up an obscure go fund me I want us on the outside to educate ourselves and help by actually reaching out
