BTS as brothers: a thread

Namjoon would be the type of brother who helps you with homework but asks you 10+ questions to help you figure out what to do. He would randomly come up to you and hug you (awkwardly at times). NAMJOONING IS A MUST!! Weekly or monthly.

When you’re sad or stressed he would take you out on a bike ride to relax and enjoy nature. If he’s on tour or working, he’d send you a good night/good morning text. Would fake laugh at your jokes and act annoyed but he low key likes your jokes.

Arguing is semi-common but you would resolve quickly. Would make you wait until the music is released in order for you to hear it just to make you suffer. Deep ass heart to hearts very often. Will not hesitate to make an indirect diss track to anyone who hurts you.

Bonus: when/if you come out. Namjoon would wrap you into a bear hug that would break you (in the most loving way possible). “I’m so so proud of you” then kissing ur forehead.

Jin’s the type of brother that would be completely whipped. At times he would spoil you but most of the time he would have good control. Gives you piggyback rides on his broad shoulders. COOKING TOGETHER ON A DAILY!!

Would teach you new recipes and if you suck at cooking he lets you observe and help out with minor things. When you’re sick he would make you stay in bed and would make some soup. Non-stop checking in with you when he’s on tour or working.

Would make several dad jokes to annoy you but he just wants to see you laugh. Will DRAG you out of bed if you refuse to get up. Arguing is rare and if you do it would most likely be about something stupid. Would listen to you’re thoughts, vice versa.

You’d be the last person to hear a song because he wants it to be perfect just for you.
Bonus: when/if you come out. Jin would lift you up and hold you like a baby. “Thank you for trusting me” then wouldn’t let go.

Yoongi is the type of brother who could not say no. His soft spot for you is like his soft spot for Holly but often teases you by saying he loves Holly more. Would act like he hates skin ship but randomly hugs you and doesn’t let go. BASKETBALL AND CAFÉ OUTINGS! Every other week.

When you’re frustrated or upset he would be the type to just let you let it all out. Telling you it’s okay to cry, just let it out. Then gives you words of encouragement. Would take you to a cafe or his studio to get your mind off things.

Sends you pictures of him when he’s on tour or working. Might ask for pictures of Holly. Chill but protective. Level of protectiveness is based off your age. Younger than 18, he’d be extremely protective but not to the extent that you aren’t allowed to go out or something.

Arguing is semi-rare. You guys playfully argue just to annoy each other. Mocks your tone at times. Call him a lot of nicknames. Some being annoying/cringy just to annoy the shit out of him.

Would be the type to say he hasn’t made anything new music just so that you don’t listen to it then drops something the very next day. Phone calls that day are very interesting.

Bonus: when/if you come out. Yoongi would have the biggest gummy smile on his face but it would go away for a bit while saying “If anyone hurts you I will not hesitate to sue their ass”. Then smiles again like nothing happened.

Hobi is the type of brother that’s loud asf and funny. But will be serious if he has to be. Personal space? What’s that? Non-stop cuddling and forehead kisses. SPOILS YOU!! Sibling goals. Takes you to the dance studio at least once or twice a month. Will give you his clothes.

When you’re sad he would sit with you on the bed and just hold you, wiping away any tears that may fall. Will just rock you slowly until you fall asleep. When you wake up he would greet you with the biggest smile on his face and covers your room with candy and stuffed animals.

If he’s on tour or working he would spam you at random times and sometimes forget about different time zones. Laughs hysterically at your jokes even if they’re not funny. Forces you to clean, scary af if you don’t. Depending on your age, he’d get mad if you break any rules.

Make up quickly if you argue cause who can be mad at Hobi, he’s Hobi. Has the cutest nicknames for you. Would try to hide new music but always ends up telling you on accident, accidentally playing it around you, and/or playing it too loud.

Bonus: when/if you come out. Hobi would never let you go. Kisses your forehead and back of the head several times. “MUAH MUAH MUAH SO DAMN PROUD OF YOU” LOUD. Will scream it around the house (in the case that it’s only you two and Mickey home, maybe dawon).

Jimin is the type of brother that’s like an angel best friend. Carries you out of nowhere and gives back hugs. Gives you a lot of advice. Weak for you. BEACH DATES(like a friend date, if it wasn’t obvious). At least every other month. Always gives advice and hates seeing you sad.

If you had a tough day at work/school he would wrap you in blanket and let you talk about your day. Strokes your hair and gives you a shoulder massage. “No no no don’t be sad, Jimin’s here” then eventually falls asleep with you in his arms. Will not let go for a while.

If he’s on tour or working he covers your room with sticky notes that have small messages on them. He also asks you about your day at the end of the day via texting. Would act like your jokes weren’t funny even though he’s on the floor laughing at them half the time.

Small arguments over food or height, nothing super serious though. Usually just playful fights. Makes sure you eat all of your meals and if your busy and refuse, he with feed you himself. Protective. Teases you by not letting you listen to what he’s making but always gives in.

Bonus: when/if you come out. Cups your cheeks then kisses you all around your face minus the lips. “No matter what I will always love you” (familial love if that wasn’t clear). Has the most fond smile on his face.

Taehyung and you would be the ‘sibling goals’ siblings. Helps you find out your own style but overall you’re his prodigy. Jumps into your bed and squishes you daily. ART GALLERY TRIPS AND SHOPPING at least once’s or twice every other, other month!! Very dramatic.

When you’re anxious he’d do something to distract you. He’d let you play with his hair and would be your mannequin. Oh the power you have. Does some small dances to to make you laugh then later sings to you. Pretends he dislikes the outfits you gave him just to tease you.

When he’s on tour or working he makes sure you take care of Yeontan and often teases you like that. But he never forgets to actually check on you and make sure you eating/resting properly. Would play games with you even if he’s overseas. Has a blank face after you tell your joke.

But then breaks out into a boxy smile. Arguing is mildly common. Usually consists of who Yeontan’s parent is or about you lying about stealing his black card. Mostly ends by him tickling you to death or tackling each other until someone taps out.

You would be the first person to hear a song he makes then gets excited and asks for your opinion. Would be the first person you’d go to for relationship advise despite him being a little protective.

Bonus: when/if you come out. Tae would low key not be surprised “Alright now, give me a kiss (on cheek)” exaggerates a “muah” sound. Dramatic, saying that you’ll leave him soon. Would then giggle and pout. Overall extremely happy and proud of you.

Jungkook would be the best friend brother that loves to tease you 24/7. Cuddles you a lot. When playing video games, that how he distracts you. DRAGS YOU TO THE GYM AND PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS. Almost every 3 weeks. Finds joy in annoying you. It’s his stress reliever.

When you’re angry or frustrated he let you use his abs as a punching bag but eventually gives you a boxing glove and watches you punch a punching bag. “Who do I need to beat up, I WILL do it. Only I’m allowed to make you mad”/“look, I won’t be mad if you punch them in the face”.

When he’s on tour or working he doesn’t contact you a lot but checks in on you once in while. Sends you photographs and voice memos. Makes you jealous by sending pics of food but steals your food when he comes back. Gives you a disgusted look whenever you tell a joke.

Arguing is a daily thing. It’s usually never serious. Consists of food fights, starts when you steal each other’s food, tackling and tickling, starts when you interrupt each other, a verbal dissing (not like serious hurtful stuff), starts when you tease each other.

Would be the type to let you sit with him while he writes a song and asks you if you have any tips. Very protective, especially if you’re younger than him by more than 3 years. Will treat you the same age as him or a like complete baby (not to the point it feels uncomfortable)

Bonus: when/if you come out. Jungkook would break out into a bunny smile and carry you. “I’m so so proud of you. I’ll always be here for you.” Literally so supportive. Ends up playing video games with you. Even though he constantly teases you, he loves you.
