Fun fact:

Reds finished the 1989 season with a record of 75-87.

They won the WS in 1990 (91-71), started the season 9-0. Before this, the Reds had not won a playoff series since 1976 (WS win).

What I’m saying, is, history shouldn’t keep you from being excited about this team.
So, the playoff win drought was 14 years at that time, right now, it’s 26 years (last playoff series win was in 1995).

You can say, “it’s only 7 games, they can fall apart”. At some point, they will win a playoff series. Why not this season?

This team seems well-equipped.
I just don’t understand looking at this team with a glass half-empty approach right now.

This team is fun, they’re off to a scorching start, breaking offensive record left and right.

If you’re not excited right now, you never will be. That’s my opinion. End of thread.
