So I’m playing KH3, and I’ll admit that it’s actually not that bad once you begin to level up more and get used to the combat and such. But one thing that’s always bugged me even before the game were reviewers constantly saying that the acting is “wooden”.

Now I’ve played this game for about a week and while I’m watching the cutscenes, I keep trying to find any major hints of “wooden” or “forced” acting.
Like sure not EVERYTHING is delivered well, but for the most part, I think it’s actually pretty good!

However, if there is one game to call out that I’ve played, and I know LOTS of you are gonna hate me for this, after playing and watching cutscenes many times, I believe that KH1 is hiply of having MANY scenes containing wooden or forced dialogue.

Let’s not beat around the bush, I know I’m attacking everyone’s cherished baby here, but be honest: the acting in KH1 is pretty bad (for the most part).
Now yes all of the kingdom hearts games have their fair share of bad acting moments, not denying that, but KH1 has it bad.

Like people always cherry-pick cutscenes from KH3 that are just... memes.
Look at KH1, the scene when Sora and the gang arrive on Captain Hook’s ship and Riku talks to Sora, or whenever Leon is talking, or even the entirety of Deep Jungle’s cutscenes for crying out loud.

There are MANY cutscenes and moments in the first kingdom hearts game that features a TON of forced and stiff performances, but while I do say that, I don’t think it’s a bad game or anything because of that, and there are some acting highlights in KH1 too.

It’s just when people criticize KH3 for it’s acting, I can’t help but look back at KH1 and go, “well look at the first game, now THAT had some REALLY forced acting”.
Am I wrong??? Like I want to know specifically why KH3’s acting deserves as much hate as it gets.

I honestly don’t see a problem for the most part, so if any of you would like to help me figure out why KH3 has bad acting, please comment below and elaborate.
Like idk if it’s just a bandwagon type of thing or what, but I’m not seeing what y’all are seeing so I’m confused.

And also, just to reiterate, this is MY OPINION.
Please do not attack me or others for having opinions. You may disagree but don’t go out of your way to be callous or toxic.
I still love all KH games, but I just wanted to make this thread and vent a little.
