Very, very early returns in #WhiteSox Twitter's "depth" complaints all offseason. Below is White Sox Twitter's All Star Team (where Reinsdorf, budgets and the free market doesn't exist) vs. the White Sox depth that we've been told does not exist. I understand it's very early.
The "I refuse to understand the Sox are owned by Reinsdorf & not Guggenheim" team.

Marcell Ozuna - .125/.250/.125, wRC+ 21, 39.3 K%
George Springer - Hasn't played, two injuries
Joc Pederson - .095/.167/.238, wRC+ 15, 33.3 K%
Jose Quintana - 3.1 IP, 10.8 ERA 5/3 K/BB
The "the "Sox are still in a rebuild" ugly step-sibling, balling on a budget" team

Yermin Mercedes - .556/.571/.889, wRC+ 308, 10.7 K%
Andrew Vaughn - .154/.353/.231, wRC+ 88, 35.3 K%
Adam Eaton - .241/.353/.345, wRC+ 107, 14.7 K%
Carlos Rodon - 1-0, 0 ERA, 9/3 K/BB
First group Cost:
2021 Cost - $51.7M
Total Cost - $230M

#WhiteSox Group Cost:
2021 Cost - $11.1M
Total Cost - $12.1M
#WhiteSox AL offense ranks after losing two 2020 Silver Sluggers and two of their three best hitters to injury.

wRC+ - 3rd
WAR - 3rd
OBP - 1st
Run Differential - 3rd
The #BlueJays** - the roster that struck fear in #WhiteSox twitter all offseason w/ their riches of the depth - AL Ranks:

wRC+ - 12th
WAR - 12th
OBP - 12th
Run Differential - 10th

**They are "competing" with TJ Zeuch & Tanner Roark in their rotation. (Depth > Starting pithing)
The #Yankees - Yesterday they started Jay Bruce, Mike Tacuhman and Tyler Wade in a lineup that had Aaron Hicks & Gleyber Torres hitting 3-4.
The #Twins have been playing well. However, their difference-making depth guys are the only players on the team not hitting. #WhiteSox fan heartthrob Jake Cave looking like the unsustainable BABIP's of years' past were the only thing buoying up his 30%+ strikeout-based approach.
Did I mention it's early? We'll keep updating. We'll see how the Twitter armchair GM's would have done spending like Steven Cohen owns their MLB The Show team vs. how the Sox front office does spending like it's 2011 ( #WhiteSox 2021 Payroll is within $1M of 2011's Payroll)
