It’s just really fucking gross how he writes a whole paragraph about how caring he is, how compassionate, how reasonable, before dismissing us all as hysterical man-hating homophobes.

Here, he completely ignores the processes already in place for assessment by experts - literally nobody is handing out puberty blockers “like candy” - and suggests that autistic people are somehow incapable of knowing their gender identity as well as he, a reasonable man does.

He completely ignores the new ruling in Tavistock because it doesn’t fit his narrative, and privileges the stories of the 0.5% of people who detransition because to him, one single cis life is worth more than 199 trans lives.

So many of these people are motivated by an imaginary fear that they might have accidentally transitioned as children and that’s (1) just not how it works (2) clearly a projection of the idea that being trans is the worst thing that can happen someone. It’s not.
