Covid-19 is hampering efforts to evacuate people from the eastern Caribbean island of St. Vincent, where the La Soufriere volcano began erupting Friday morning.

Carnival Cruise Lines said the "initiative" has been taken by the St Vincent government, not them. I never knew that Covid was more dangerous than pyroclastic clouds and magma.
