I dedicate 3 days to writing at 5 AM before anyone else is awake, a 3 year old, 4 month old, & wife.
My brain is the freshest then, & the house is quiet, & my coffee is hot.
I can’t do this every day because I also use that time to grade & edit essays.
This works for me!

My wife is a nurse & works 12-hour nightshifts.
When she’s at work & the kiddos are sleeping, I use that time to write & lift weights, sometimes at the same time.
