Stop shitting all over every single word non-binary people come up with for themselves challenge 2021.

Are other ppl aware of what a trend this is? For the last decade I’ve seen every single word that non-binary people have come up with to refer to, include, or acknowledge themselves, shot down, ridiculed, criticized with some **wild reaches**, and beaten back out of usefulness.

All your “I’d rather be shot point blank” and “for the love of god just call me a slur” is participating in an established and ongoing tradition of ridiculing and denigrating all of our attempts at new language. All the made-up smear campaigns and cringing.

And yeah, non-binary people themselves are often culprits of this. Stop sabotaging your own god damn siblings and if you see a word you don’t like, just keep fucking scrolling.

Every word I’ve ever coined that’s gained any traction at all has resulted in people whole-ass **making shit up** about how terrible it is or why you shouldn’t use it, and people spread those lies without any further investigation until it’s stigmatized out of existence.

An adjacent example: Trixic. I only ever hear now about how this word is terrible because it was “forced on non-binary lesbians”. Just fuck NBLW trying to make language for their own damn selves, I guess.
