My friend @mikyberra asked me yesterday to "introduce" Gabriel Deck to #ThunderUp https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> fans.
I& #39;m not going to do a full scouting report but I will point out what are the most interesting aspects of his game thinking about its translation in the NBA.

Deck is a versatile inside-out combo forward who plays mostly off ball.
Smart, intuitive player who knows how the defense reacts in certain situations, which allows him to be a very efficient cutter.
Not an athletic finisher, but he& #39;s good at absorbing contact and drawing fouls
Shooting profile might be the crossroad of his NBA career. Form is atypical but touch is there, making him a reliable shooter who knocks 3s from corners (42% in c&s situations)
It will be important how he& #39;s going to adapt to closeout situations against more athletic defenders.
The most interesting aspect of his game is the ability to play back to the basket.
He& #39;s a bully against smaller players, has a lot of moves and counters to use.
In a heavy-switch league this ability could be crucial in some span of the game, mostly because...
...he& #39;s a terrific (and fun) low post playmaker.
Great passing skills w/both hands, awareness and unique feel to manipulate defense from secondary transition and half-court.

Thunder are going full european-style with him, Maledon, Poku and (soon) Micic. Enjoy the experience!
