Consumerism is broken
In a tree by a brook, there's a songbird who sings
Sometimes we forget what's important
& the value of things gets confused
Because money is cheaper than life
There's a feeling we get when we look out west
And our spirit is crying in the destruction

In our thoughts we have seen fire burning the trees
Because the voices are demanding more
That's you
And it's sad that now, we all call the tune
And the the piper is leading us from reason
And a new day will dawn for those who pay most
And where forests are just ash & hatred.

Or a carefree world
& it makes us listen for the absent bustle in the hedgerows which are no more.
