Just came through Holyrood Park (traffic free wkd) onto Duddingston Rd West ( #spacesforpeople infra going in and 20mph signs ) and onto the #spacesforpeople protected lanes on Duddingston Rd & almost cried. This is progress - thank you @lmacinnessnp

Why is this important? Because finally we are seeing the development of actual routes that people can use. Of course the schemes aren’t perfect but they are game changing. If @welovehistory closes park permanently to through traffic we get a safe onroad route from Porty to city.

We couldnt have achieved this without thoughtful input by @SpokesPorty and @SpokesLothian - volunteers putting in time and energy to explain why routes are needed and how they can be improved. So proud to have played a small part of this fantastic improvement for the city.
