What I like about this scene, and the show in general, is that it shows Walker can’t keep up physically as well as mentally/emotionally. When Steve was a physical underdog, he kept getting up. And even when Walker has all Steve’s outward gifts, he still fails hard because of what’s inside. I just think to go from Spiderverse “anyone can wear the suit” to Cap “well i mean not just anyone” has been interesting and shows the breadth of the genre.

I would argue it’s actually that he doesn’t handle “failure” well. It was never about the lives lost, it was always about him and his inability to save them.
