1. We all know this one and it's super effective: Smaller plates. You'll end up eating less.
2. When having a snack, use your non dominant hand. You'll end up eating up to 20% less.
3. When drinking something unhealthy, use a tall thin glass.
4. Place a mirror in your kitchen. You'll see yourself eat all that junk and be disgusted.
5. When eating, don't do anything else. Don't watch a youtube video or read a book, you'll end up eating faster and more.
6. Concentrate on your food & chew a lot. Put your fork or spoon down between each bite.
7. Use red plates and bowls. Research has shown that people eat fewer snacks when they're served on red plates.
8. Take a picture of everything you eat. It will help you cut down on eating by about a third.
9. Don't buy different kinds of snacks. When given more options, we're tempted to try everything and thus eat more.
