This is inaccurate because immigrants are gradually assimilating to the American mainstream, as Richard Alba argues in his book The Great Demographic Illusion. In America, we have also seen what ex-Democrat pollster and activist David Shor calls 'racial depolarisation', ie less interracial hostility and fewer differences in voting behaviour and cultural norms and mores. Ironically this happened under Donald Trump

Finally, Donald Trump gained new highs in Hispanic, Asian and Black votes in the 2020 election, all of whom, as Musa al-Gharbi writes, voted for him *because of* his positions on immigration, law and order etc. Racial depolarisation in action.

In other words, both the right and left obsessed with demographics are likely wrong: there is neither an emerging Democratic majority, nor an emerging majority-minority country where white people are "replaced." Demography does not therefore equal destiny. END/
