Our psychology has replaced an oppressive Victorian tradition (?) with fashionable opinion, now more oppressive than the Queen, having become our new opinion about the soul, man and the purpose of life.

Where we once feared the judgement of elders, we now fear the judgement of shrinks, and try to appear so as to avoid their categories.

How "authentic!"

Now we can be scapegoated with the DSM replacing the Bible, and quite certain that for knowledge of man, the Book has been superseded.

Common opinion simply changes the clothing in which it scapegoats. Its ministers are still its loyal servants- barely responsible for the harm they inflict while congratulating themselves for "helping."

At least our psych is still "eclectic," and does not claim to impose the purpose while it makes us "normal" to its satisfaction, with drugs.
