I've gotta say, I love all these little bits of symbolic foreshadowing throughout the show.

For being a shitty person Wen Zhuliu is probably the best out of the group of shitty people at Lotus Pier.

This is the part that always kills me. Like their entire home is gone and the Wens are just mocking everything about it and the looks on their faces just H U R T S.

I guess they did love each other after all, when it was too late.

Why are y'all pointing your swords at their dead bodies?! They're not getting up any time soon!

Even in the middle of this tragedy it's heartbreaking how WWX is Othered by the person who he called brother. And it's not even JC's fault, at least at this point in the story. It's the Jiang parents' fault.

And because of the way they were raised, they both grow up loving their family but JC has the attitude of "As long as my family is safe fuck everyone else" while WWX is raised to put everyone else's needs before his, even to the point of his own death.

It was already cracked, but this is absolutely the moment when the Jiang brothers' relationship starts to crumble.

Random thought: Xiao Zhan's eyebrows are on fleek.
