Okay fuck it.
A thread.

Why 2gether the novel was disgusting and if you like 2gether novel more than the series you disgust me.

I am also gonna highlight the character differences.
The plot of both the novel and series is practically the same.
There's not a big difference other than one tiny tiny point.
I am gonna highlight the differences between the series and the novel.
But like I said most of the plot is same, so where is the difference?

In The Characters and their portrayal.

I will go through each character and talk about their behavior and quirks.
1. Series Tine

We are starting with my baby.

In the series we get a Tine, who's confident enough to chase after what he wants. But at the same does battle insecurities and feels down at times, even with having a great support system.
A brother who loves him, supportive friends, Sarawat who loves him and doesn't shy away from showing it to him and constantly dotes on him.

He is very gullible and also a little slow to catch on things. But is also headstrong, putting his foot down during certain moments.
And self aware enough to apologize when he messes Up.

He chases after women with complete honesty and though he does act like a typical horny boy at times, there are moments when he's sweet and caring
(like his seniors and friends from cheer squad. Not to forget his friendship with Pear)

He also seems to have an inherent Fear of being left behind, like he would be dumped and left alone, that even though someone says they love him, at some point they would realise he's
not good enough and leave. (Atleast it's showed in the series)

He's also very helpful, completely willing to fight for GreenA character who's been harassing him since th start if the year. But no way would he let his abusive boyfriend hurt him so he stands between ready to fight
A senior, he respected a lot not even 5 minutes ago.

Now moving to Novel Tine.

The only "actually not a bad person" in the novel.
Still couldn't stand him.

He is point blank narcissistic at the start of the novel. Being confident in his own looks while calling his friends
Ugly.

That's not why I call him narcissistic though. In the novel everything is about him. And he doesn't care about others or their feelings.

He just always makes everything about him. Looks down on others.

Unlike the series, his breakups always are because the girls were
Too annoying. And he couldn't be bothered to spend more than one date with them. Yet he chased after other girls.

His first thought on meeting girls would always be, how good of a girlfriend she would be for him or how good they would look together.

Again here he's very
Gullible, point blank stupid if you ask me.

He has no spine, 80% of his character is just him crying because his face or literally at every minor inconvenience.

He cries a lot and while it's okay to hv characters who cry a lot, there should be atleast one front where they are
Strong to show something other than them crying. Tine doesn't have it.

So overall his character is just annoying.

But I can put that aside and still like him, because in the novel he's just poor boy, A victim of others constantly taking advantage of how gullible he is.
2. Tine's friends in the series

(I am saving Sarawat for the end)

Tine's friends in th series are simply people with zero Brain cells.

They are stupid and they own it in a charming way. Like they are still stupid but we know they don't mean any harm by it.

They are a mess
And thing they are helping Tine out but infact just end up making a mess of things.
But there's no hostility there or any ulterior motive.

His friends in the novel.

When you have friends like those, you don't need enemies.
I will give Fong a pass since he does give Tine
Some good advice in the novel but that's the only point.

His friends shit on him just as much he shits on them, so I guess that's their dynamic.

But then again his friends practically help Sarawat trick Tine into being his boyfriend.

They are zero help for his emotional
Turmoil and the point of their whole existence is to push Tine towards Sarawat. Nothing else.

Moving on to other characters now.

3. Phukong.

In the series, Phukong is the slightly cunning boy who likes to mess with his brother and create problems for him. But at the same
Time he cares for his brother a lot.

The novel phukong for a lack of a better words is just an asshole. He seems to hate everything and is also very rude to others.

That's what I remember of his character... Oh and at one point he entertains the idea of stealing Tine from wat
Why? Because he wanted to know what was it about Tine (he also constantly insults Tine) that his brother likes anyway.

4. Man

Man in the series, is adorable.

He is a fucking goofball and has ideas just as bad as the zero brain cells gang, but his execution is better.
In the series, he is this dorky sweet guy, just trying to help his friend get himself a man and then get himself a man of his own.

In the novel.... He's a piece of shit. The way he talks about Tine and other stuff...

The reason for his attraction to Type is solely because he
Looks very similar to Tine.

Threatening to fuck Tine while Sarawat is out, the day after Sarawat r's tine and tine falls sick. (He says this to Sarawat, when Sarawat asks him to bring meds for a sick tine).

Need I go on?

I have a lot more to dissect on every character but
These are the ones that affected me the most.

And now we come to our main guy. The one that I hated the most.(in the novel)

5. SARAWAT GUNTHITHANON

Him in the series, I don't need to expand. He's the perfect boy.

Who seems closed of and rude at first but then you get close
To him and he gradually opens up to you and he's the sweetest person ever. Takes care of Tine, jokes around but always makes sure Tine knows how much he loves him.

And the fucker in the novel.

TW// rape skip to tweet 2

He legit rapes Tine, yes chapter 21 was rape because
Even though Tine gives consent at first, he panics and wants to back down and he literally begs Sarawat to stop, but he only goes harder and not only that, he goes for a second round even as Tine is sobbing and begging.

It was so bad that Tine actually fell sick.

X
Not only that, he is also very mean to Tine. Constantly insulting him, while knowing how insecure Tine actually gets about himself.

He brings Tine to the lowest before flirting with him. You know what that is? Manipulation.
Tine's needs are constantly brushed aside by the novel Sarawat because he wants something else.

Time adjusts to everything that Sarawat does. And Sarawat in turn insults his appearance more, even calls him dumb at times only to turn around and tell him he loves him.
That's not love, it's fucking toxic.

Not to forget he doesn't let Tine help Green when he's facing Dim who unlike the series, isn't sorry at all.
So yeah he practically makes Tine leave a victim alone with his abuser. He really was that bad.

And these are the only things I
Can remember right now.

There's more for sure.
So yeah.

The reason people are attached to 2gether isn't the whole plot, it's about the characters.

And the characters. Or novel are just some of the worst people. And nothing like the series.

Also. Pls pls pls if you are a chapter 21 enthusiast just block me pls block me.
