Dear friend, you can achieve consistency in your spiritual goals and growth. I know this because I also have my own journey and the Holy Spirit is helping me through it.

Today is the 100th day of 2021; I know this because for me, it is Day 100 of a consistent alone time with God and His Word. I didn’t miss a day through the 100 days. This was part of the goals I set at the beginning of the year to mark intentionality towards my spiritual growth.
I basically broke down the year into 1st 100 days, second 100 days etc. to achieve a consistent alone time with God daily and help me measure my progress daily. I am determined that nothing is going to break my daily consistency this year & so far, the Holy Spirit has helped me.
During the period of 100 days, there were events that wanted to take me off achieving this consistency but I purposed in my heart just like Daniel not to allow anything derail me. There were days I didn’t feel like mentally, emotionally and physically but God helped me
This is not to put anyone under pressure, knowing we all have our personal journey. Even though there is no one size fit all, the principles of growth are the same. It takes devotion, determination & a strong desire.

Here are five practical ways to help you achieve consistency:
1.Deep Hunger, desire, determination & focus: This is the starting point and it begins with you. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled...” (Mt 5:6.) We must see our spiritual growth as our spiritual food.
2.Ask the Holy Spirit for help: You cannot achieve spiritual growth in the flesh. There are days your body won’t feel like it, days your soul is so downcast. But God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. Therefore, you must rely fully on the Holy Spirit Zechariah 4:6
3.Give your best time of the day to God: being a 9-5 professional, my best time is usually the very early mornings. At this time there are no distractions or family demands. Look for your own best time based on your reality and give it to God. It really helps
4.Set “SMART” goals: Your goals must be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound

5.Get accountability partner(s): This really helps! I have an accountability group and this really helps me and keeps me on my toes
Pls this is not to put pressure on anyone or give a template, I just feel it might help, hence my reason for putting it out here. Our main focus must be remain on the principles behind growth. I really pray this helps someone!
