It is important to me that teachers know I fully advocate the sharing and adaptation of my work, in any capacity.
I do, however, take issue and have become increasingly upset by others endorsing my work publicly, whilst speaking so poorly of me privately. This is gaslighting.
Over the last few months, several friends and professionals have received or been part of online discussions that have attempted to damage my reputation. I have been called superior, a bully, and other less favourable terms that I do not wish to type.
Whilst publicly, the same person was endorsing my work, referencing my books and even after blocking the individual, continuing to tag me in repeated posts, sometimes more than once a day.
I feel forced into sharing this narrative, not because I want sympathy or pity, but because the idea of teachers not sharing or using work I have created really saddens me. It is literally why I create materials; why I wrote books; why I created Litdrive.
Anyone who knows me really, really well knows the motivation behind everything that I do. I won't speak again about this publicly, and I find it upsetting to write it, but it is important to me that teachers know they can share my work, and...
my DMs are open so that I can connect with teachers, help teachers with curriculum-related queries, flexible working requests, workload-supportive policy, applications and interviews, and just continue to share my experience and expertise. Thank you for enabling me to do that.
