Unfair // Goyuu cheating au

Gojo truly believed it would be a one-time thing. He loved Yuuji more than anything, but the pressure he was under was starting to get to him. All the shit he’d been putting off at work came back to bite him in the ass and now the company has him
running around the country till he drops.
Home hasn’t been much better. Every precious minute he gets at home Yuuji wants to spend going over the move with him. He thinks if he has to spend another second talking about what kind of windows they should have the contractor put into
the place he’ll have an aneurysm. So when he ran into Suguru in Kyoto it felt like stumbling on an oasis. It& #39;d been half a decade since he& #39;d last seen the man, and all those moments they had shared wash over him.
There& #39;s stil the stiff "how have you been"& #39;s, but then Gojo offers
to buy a round or two. He& #39;s eager to talk to a familiar face. It& #39;ll take his mind off things for a bit. He& #39;s earned it.
But friendly conversation falls away into warm reminiscing about old times. They trade old jokes, old stories, and old regrets till last call. Then Gojo& #39;s at a
crossroad. He& #39;s fiddling with the check trying to rack his brain on whether he& #39;s really going to invite his ex-boyfriend up to his room when a familiar ringtone cuts through the silence.
Yuuji.
Fuck.
Suguru pauses from gathering up his coat. "Do you need to take that?"
Gojo’s eyes flit up and are met with a teasing grin. Theres a nostalgic warmth in his chest mingling with the liquor.
“No...i’m pretty sure it can wait.”
He fishes out his roomcard before tucking his phone away.

Elsewhere, Yuuji clutches the receiver as the tinny voicemail
Track cuts in.
*Ooooo tough luck, this is Gojo Satoru’s voicemail. Leave a name and a message and Ill get back to you when I can...maybe. Buh bye!*

Yuuji felt a cold weight gathering. It’s not like Satoru to miss a call, especially one they’d planned out in advance.
((Gonna finish this when i wake up))
I just really think goyuu deserves some suffering here and there
(Continued)
Yuuji tried not to let worry consume him. The company would’ve called him if there was an accident so all this means is Satoru probably fell asleep. A more familiar kind of worry twists his stomach. He’s been working so hard these days. Yuuji really hopes he can ease
away some of that stress when he gets home this weekend. Satoru deserves to be taken care of after all he’s done. With a fond smile, yuuji waits for the beep and leaves his goodnight for gojo
“Sorry i missed you tonight. Im sorry work is running you ragged, but I cant wait to see
you this saturday! We can go wherever you want or just hang out and be lazy. Anyway i hope you’re getting a goodnight’s rest. I’ll talk to you later. Love you!”

Gojo’s not sleeping well back in Kyoto. Suguru is insatiable. His kisses are demanding and whenever his attention
drifts for even a moment his hands rip his focus back, with a sharp tug on his hair or nails digging into his thigh. It all works so well to keep him from thinking about what he’s doing. Its so different. Worlds away from the strong gentle hands that have spent the last few
years soothing his aches and coaxing his release. Suguru is insistent-all consuming-its like he’s at the center of a wildfire and he doesn’t know how he could’ve forgotten what it was like being with him
When he wakes up, suguru’s already showered. He’s shimmying his slacks back
on and fumbling in the dark looking for his watch. Gojo almost blinds himself when he checks his phone for the time. 3:53 am
"Don& #39;t remember you being this much of an early bird." Gojo& #39;s voice comes out hoarse, it feels like his tongue wants to stick to the roof of his mouth.
"They& #39;ve got me on the earliest train to Toyama. Gotta pick up my stuff and head out."
"Oof sucks for you." Geto smiles as Gojo flops back down. He figured out how to read the disappointment behind Satoru& #39;s childish words years ago.
"This was fun though. If you& #39;re ever in town
again let me know I& #39;ll make sure you get a proper tour of Kyoto during daylight hours."
"Hmmmm that could be worth my time. You& #39;ll have to buy me a lot of Kyo-wagashi though."
Geto chuckles. "Of course, do you still have my number."
Gojo& #39;s throat works at the memory of the
times after they& #39;d broken up he& #39;d spent huddled up, sobbing, trying to erase it. It& #39;d always ended with his phone chucked across the room with the ghost of what they& #39;d shared still preserved in the device like amber.
"Yeah...yeah I& #39;ve still got it."
"Good, take care Satoru."
----
The rest of his work trip passes by in a dream. Normally he feels his heart get lighter as the train pulls into Shingawa station but this time he finds himself nervously checking over himself. Making sure any marks Suguru left have faded and there& #39;s no long hairs on his coat
