I met #PrincePhillip once. On hearing I was @TheGreenParty he gave me his WWF credentials, then wagged his finger at me and said, 'You know the problem with you Greens?' I said, No. 'It's that you never give anyone else any credit.' And I thought, he's right. So now I do.

It's because we Greens have such good policies and high standards on green issues that half measures leave us in despair. But since meeting #PrincePhillip in 2002 I have tried to appreciate the small steps by others. (PS: @Meg_HillierMP was there next to me.)

We were in a line to meet to Queen and Consort at the opening of City Hall and I told the Queen that the baby who cried during her speech was Meg's. And that the baby's name was Elizabeth. The Queen beamed.
