Contrary to the popular misunderstanding attributed to him, he explains how Yoga is related to Sanatan Dharma. He specifically points out why he does not want to link it to Hindu Religion in this article. 3/n

To him, Hindu is a geo identity and its religious identity never existed. Most of us by now agree that Dharma is not the same as religion and referring Sanatan Dharma merely as a religion reduces its profoundness to a dogmatic and rigid belief system. 4/n
