Vaccination Story (A mini-thread)

...I& #39;m glad to report that yesterday, I just walked my talk! I was eligible for A3 since I had a respiratory co-morbidity. (Just brought copies of my med certs and prescriptions from a year ago.)
However, It was not exactly a pleasant experience. The Paranaque government somehow was inefficient yesterday, and I was among hundreds of other people who waited in line for 10 hours!
Imagine, these are people with co-morbidities! I have one but am fairly healthy. Imagine the others who have worse conditions! Hypertensive, Diabetic.. going through this.
Look at my sunburn for spending all morning and afternoon under the searing sun in the parking lot while in queue. (and because I was stubborn and declined to bring an umbrella when my wife asked me to. Sorry, dear!

In fairness, they distributed crackers and water in the afternoon pantawid gutom. Appreciate the efforts!
It was already around 7pm when I finally got to ringside inside the covered courts -- ayan na yung mga nag-iinjectionnn! Once there, it was all fast-paced! The nurse who took my BP commented that & #39;namula daw ako hindi nangitim.& #39; hahaha.
Kudos to the frontliners who were also working the whole day administering vaccines, checking documents, checking BP, doing some counselling, managing the lines. Apologies to this particular frontliner who I might have annoyed because I was just focused on taking a video.
So there, got my first Sinovac dose.This is not to berate the Paranaque LGU. I just pray lessons were learned yesterday. I just want to say that if you& #39;re eligible, go get your vacc already. All brands will protect you. And help lessen severe cases so our hospitals won& #39;t be full.
As I was on my way home, my wife ordered Army Navy from Grabfood to reward me. Her treat. Thank you, @marian_sgtmilk! Yeah, that packaging copy got it right! I deserved delicious last night!
