wow. just saw District 4 Supervisor Gordon Mar’s newsletter in which he announces that he and the principals of all SFUSD elementary schools in the sunset are asking SFMTA to remove all sunset slow streets as part of school re-opening.
the email mentions a “neighborway network” – do want to note that neighborways, per the SFMTA definition, are not the same as closing to thru traffic like slow streets - they involve a set of potential traffic calming measures.
