you guys wanna see some super old fortnite screenshots? [2014/2015]
These images were ripped from a 2015 Game Developers Conference [GDC] pdf talking about how Neuroscience and UX can impact Design.
I'm just gonna make this a thread of old fortnite stuff;

Fortnites website used to be fortnitegame . com instead of fortnite . com

Below is Fortnites old twitter pfp & banner
Old About page:
The first ever Fortnite Alpha [OT1/Online Test 1] was under an NDA which restricted players from streaming the game. The reason we still occasionally see footage is because they said that they would open up people being able to upload stuff from it "in the future".
The old Fortnite STW town map asset:
Some more Fortnite Alpha Assets:
Most of these assets are from Fortnite at PAX however the last image is the old Fortnite PVP prototype, a 5v5 team deathmatch-esc gamemode.
Fortnite Alpha stuff was still under NDA's even in OT4, which is once again why it's harder to come across some of this stuff.

OT4 added a new constructor and outlander model and quite a few other things.
Some old OT4 Promo assets
Some OT3 screenshots, skills used to have durability and PLs as well.

Old Fortnite OT2 Wallpaper [1920x1080]
Here is a photo of "Cooties" someone who was immortalized in Fortnite history as graffiti due to how much time he spent playing Fortnite in the alpha [OT1 + OT2] and how much through + thoughtful feedback he provided VIA the forums.
This is what the Supply Drop used to look like in OT2, you got it by building the "Drone Manufactory" building in your Homebase.
Old Fortnite Launcher
STW used to allow you to "gift" items and resources to team mates when they were close by instead of having to drop the item on the ground and have the other person pick it up.
Old Homebase Explained:

Home Base is a "Character Sheet" that you would upgrade over time. In the Home Base, players can unlock and upgrade Hero classes, or earn and select upgrades that affect all of their heroes equally.

You can click on the empty land plots around the Home Base to preview the requirements for buildings later on down the chain. If you find yourself short on Resources you can obtain more by completing missions on the Town Map, or you can collect resources from your Command Center.
