As someone who has paid for coaching, I’m gonna pass on some wisdom I ran across years ago.

Beginners don’t need coaches, they need to work on fundamentals.

Anyone taking coaching money from beginners is likely just up for a cash grab...why? https://twitter.com/ty_hotcommodity/status/1380699376411148290
Because teaching beginners actually takes an incredible amount of skill, experience, and patience. Those people are VERY rare.

Beginners especially should focus o. group classes and self study #BFTips
My personal insight (I don’t coach because I don’t believe I have enough experience)...most beginners who ask for my business coaching services actually need support with something completely outside the business sphere
Could be mental health support, education in a specific field or something else...but that need and confusion is what these “coaches” prey on
And I’ve paid a lot for coaching...got every dime back multiple times over...the real ones seldom even want to touch beginners
This is actually a pretty common grift in the martial arts...private coaching to “accelerate” what goes on in group classes

Saw *multiple* cases of guys paying thousands, coming to a group class and then getting demolished by ppl who were just consistent and worked fundamentals

I actually started this platform as a place people could work through these early stages, at their own pace, while learning from a focused community, for free or at most a few dollars a month...none of this should be a major financial risk for people
