Lois apologising to Francis is easily one of the greatest scenes I've ever seen in my life. The lines are perfect. The performances nail it. The perceptiveness of it, the depth and complexity of the ineffable feelings it confronts... I am awestruck that such a thing was made.
Meanwhile, the Victoria two-parter of Due South is a masterpiece. They created a series to build up one of the best ever characters on TV and then utterly tear him apart in the most beautiful way.

every single fucking scene with ray mckinnon in deadwood should have got him an award. That series was robbed a hundred times
