they would want in Their adult children. I teach Riley to put away her dirty clothes in the hamper and dirty cloth diaper in the cloth bag now so she can clean her room in a slow steady routine as a teen.

I teach her to wipe up after she eats and take her plate to the trash now, so she can clear or set a table as a teen. It’s a build up of routine and skills years in the making. Kids don’t magically one day know how to clean and organize.

And watching you or you just gently telling them is not enough most times
