Army LT Caron Nazario was pepper sprayed, beaten, and handcuffed while in uniform... and then let go because the cops had no reason to do a god damn thing in the first place.

This is yet another example of why we demand that #BlackLivesMatter
LT Nazario said, “I’m honestly afraid to get out of the car.”

Cop: “You should be.”

#ProtectAndServe?

Full bodycam video:
LT Nazario went to college, joined the Army, took an oath to protect and defend the constitution but apparently the rights enshrined in that document mean NOTHING to these Windsor Virginia police officers and too many officers like them.
You want to talk about criminal justice reform?

Put Officers Joe Gutierrez and Daniel Crocker in handcuffs as swiftly as they did to LT Nazario.
Gutierrez told LT Nazario that he was “fixin’ to ride the lightning,” in other words get executed.

Take their pay, pensions, and everything as swiftly as they pulled their weapons out and were apparently prepared to kill this innocent man. A soldier. United States Army.
If you’re not willing to do that than just be honest and tell Black and Brown people that we’re 2nd class citizens to you.

That our rights are probationary.

That our lives don’t matter to you.

I took a similar oath that LT Nazario took.

I thought it meant something.
